This course is tailored for students eager to merge their Mandarin Chinese language skills with key concepts in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). The curriculum focuses on essential vocabulary, phrases, and grammatical structures pertinent to STEM disciplines, while enhancing language proficiency through interactive activities and projects. By integrating language learning with specific content areas, students will experience a more natural and effective approach to acquiring Mandarin. Engaging projects will include exploring the Chinese invention of papermaking, constructing arch bridges using ancient Chinese techniques, and examining aerodynamics through the art of Chinese kite-making.
