Class Description:Enrichment: Career Coaching for Successful Midlife Transition
Career transitions are a life journey that is always evolving and changing. If you have been laid off, feeling stuck or ready for a change we will explore ways to vision and take steps to make movement in your career path. With the constant trend of organizational restructuring, toxic environments, it may bring a level of anxiety and fear. It is important to embrace these feelings while at the same time getting prepared for what may be the next change. I will share what steps I personally took in my career and when I was laid off. There will be a discovery process using career questionnaires, career design blueprints and other activities. Examples of other topics and activities are informational interviews, preparation for the interview and personal presentation.
Please bring a pen or pencil and note-taking tool. I will provide you with tools to assist in making changes in your career, realizing you have options, reframing your mindset.
