Description
Independent painting sessions for Intermediate and Advanced students only. No beginners, please.
Essential materials
Canvases or painting surfaces of artists choice
Large disposable paper palette tablet or large transportable palette
2in palette knife
Oil Acrylic Flat or Filbert brushes Firm Bristle width size 1inch to half inch quarter inch
use approximate size when purchasing brushes. Brand to brand sizes by number vary
Recommended Paint: colors are the same for oils or acrylics
We can work with whatever paint you have
Titanium White, Ultramarine Blue, Pthalo Blue, Lemmon Yellow or Cadmium Yellow Light, Cadmium Yellow Deep, Cadmium Red Light, Quinacridone Magenta, Burnt Sienna,
Acrylic Painters:
Acrylic Fluid Gloss Painting Medium
Oil Painters
8 oz solvent Turpenoid or Gamasol
2 small glass jars with lids baby food or salsa jars will work
Optional but Recommended Supplies
Paper and pen for sketching
Painting gloves
