Description
$36 MODEL FEE DUE AT FIRST CLASS
Working with a nude model, draw or paint the figure and portrait from life and learn helpful tools for achieving a likeness. The first class will include a demonstration from the instructor.
In subsequent classes the instructor will work along with the students, so students will get to see the instructor's process throughout the session. Students will receive one on one feedback on their work. Students will work at their own pace.
This is an intermediate/advanced figure studio. Students may bring the drawing or painting supplies of their choice. Some recommendations below:studio tools: Small travel mirror or black mirror Bamboo skewer or long thin knitting needle Paper towels (Viva or blue shop towels)
Recommended supplies for drawing: Drawing Board Artist tape Drawing paper. I like Strathmore 400 series Drawing Paper. 11” x 14” and/or 18" x 24" Pencils (4B, 2B, HB, 2H) Charcoal (vine charcoal and/or General’s Charcoal pencils in a range of soft to hard) Kneaded eraser White clickable eraser Sandpaper or sharpener
Painting supplies of your choice. If using solvents for oil painting, please only use odorless mineral spirits (like Gamsol), in a container with a lid. Solvents with odors are not permitted in the studio.
