This guided van tour will focus on some of the unique industrial achievements in the county. Visit the site of the earliest iron furnace in the English New World at Falling Creek Ironworks, tour the site of the earliest commercial coal mines in North America at Midlothian Mines and uncover the secret of Ettrick and Matoaca by exploring the history of some of the largest textile mills.
