Description
Prerequisite: successful completion of Cosmetology I with CCPS Adult Continuing Education. This is the second part of a two-semester course. During this course students will focus on theory and practical applications in cutting, coloring, styling, nail disorders and diseases, the basics of electricity and basic anatomy. Students will prepare to pass the Virginia State Board exam. Students are required to complete an apprenticeship of 36 hours a week for a total of 3,000 hours before taking the exam. Testing fee not included. National certification testing fees are the student's responsibility.
