Interested in the environment? Want to build your nature knowledge along with a team of other teens? Envirothon may be just what you are looking for! Each week we will use hands-on activities to discover more about forestry, wildlife, aquatic ecology, soils, and current environmental issues. Our club will learn cooperatively over several months as we build our team(s). This is a club, so it is intended to not only learn but to have fun in nature! Competing in the actual Envirothon Competitions is optional. There are 3 competitions; Regionals (March), State (April), and International (July). We advance to the next level depending on how we fair in the Regionals. Are you up for the challenge? This is a drop-off program. Registration Required.
Pre-registration is required. We often go offsite. Make sure to check your email or check in with the Eastway Nature Room. An email will be sent on the 1st of each month. If you register after the 1st then PLEASE check in at the Eastway Nature Room to get details. We don't want anyone to be left out of our adventures!
