Instructor: Grace Smith and Meghan Carson We’re excited to teach a new generation to love this very old game with a lot of new buzz! American Mahjong is a wonderful way to encourage focus, pattern recognition, strategy and memory skills, all while spending time with friends and having a lot of fun. This will be an entry-level course dedicated to fostering a love for our favorite complex game. We will begin with tile recognition and matching, followed by easy line formation, and ending with supervised tandem play. Our overarching goal is to keep it as simple as possible for young learners while still honoring the more important traditions of the game. We’ll have you hooked in no time!
