A photograph of the finished 24 "x 36" Ball Jar Bouquet quilt is available for viewing. This pattern was designed by the instructor and can be hung in your home or hung on your front door...or any door. There is a "door hanger" also designed by the instructor, which will be available for purchase, Everyone will learn how to create the Ball Jar Bouquet artwork on the quilt top surface. Arranging the flowers and stems for placement in the jar will be up to each student and therefore every quilt will be different. Learn the basics of placing and adhering fabric to a background, appliqué stitching and embellishment. You will want to make other door quilts (or wall quilts) for your home or to give. Making art quilts is so much fun because a project this size allows you to have time to make others. Every student should be able to complete the artwork on their quilt top to take home to finish. Bring lunch and a drink so you can make the best use of this time to make your quilt.
