Trip Description: MountainTrue envisions thriving communities in our mountain region that are connected to and help sustain both each other and our natural environment. To achieve this, MountainTrue fosters and empowers residents throughout the region to engage in community planning, policy and project advocacy, and on-the-ground projects. https://mountaintrue.org/ We are partnering with Mountain True to help do some stream bank restoration projects. This will involve staking trees into the ground to help with erosion. There is the possibility of getting into the river if the weather allows. They will be providing waiters but there is still a possibility of getting wet. What to bring: - Mask - CLOSED toe shoes - Comfortable clothes (some type of athletic wear is recommended) - Extra set of clothes (including shoes) - water bottle - Day bag - Layers (depending on weather) -Rain jacket
