Create your forms on the potter’s wheel, then finish your pieces using unique decorative techniques! You will learn how to use slip to decorate greenware and create texture with tools, stamps, and other surface carving techniques. We’ll also experiment with glazes and explore a variety of ways to use them. This class is perfect for intermediate students interested in learning more about surface design. Pre-requisite: Must be able to throw a cylinder confidently and with even walls. No class 2/17/2025 Clay must be purchased at the Studio. Clay is $10-$28 for a 25 lb bag depending on clay body.
