In this 2-day class, participants will explore a curated packet of choral classics and new music that can help bring relevance to your classroom. Whether through cross-curricular partnerships, addressing current events, or simply finding ways to engage emotions, these pieces will create opportunities to strengthen community and grow a deeper understanding of artistic expression and context. In addition to singing through the reading packet, we’ll share ideas for best practices for analyzing, preparing, and presenting the pieces to create a meaningful experience for performers and audiences. Course is 1 credit
