Want a little nature in your winter? Looking to explore the preserves? Get outside, trek the trails and enjoy the magic of the season! Join a naturalist at different forest preserves in Will County throughout January and February. This week, walk through a trio of habitats — prairie, woodland and wetland — at Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve. Participate in one Winter Walkers or sign up for all eight!
Please dress for the weather. Meet in front of the Plum Creek Nature Center. The hike will be 2 miles to 3 miles alternating between paved, crushed limestone and natural surfaces over uneven terrain.
