A dinghy sailor coming back from a hiatus... ...then ACSC's Learn-to-Sail Refresher class is for you! For a confidence and competence boost, join this one-day classroom and on-water course. Boats: FJs, 420s, Lasers Tentative Schedule: 10am Welcome! Intros, Goals 10:15am Knots, Rigging & Boat Checks 10:45 Classroom - the 4 maneuvers, sail trim, capsizes 11:15 Land Drills 11:45 Lunch 12:15 Gear up and practice launching/landing 12:30 Sail a buoy course - tacking, jibing, & points of sail 1:30 Break, check-in, re-launch 2pm More Sailing (practice capsizes are optional) 3:15 Land, De-rig 3:45 De-brief 4pm Bye Bye!
