Description
This 18-room Queen Anne house, with its wrap-around porch, steep gabled roof, corner hexagonal tower crowned by a conical roof and ornate details is considered on of the city's most significant residential landmark. The interior remains largely in its original condition with high ceilings, hand-carved woodwork, stained and leaded glass, gas-electric chandeliers, and tiled fireplace. It also includes many of the family's original furnishings and possessions. Since the conservative owners changed very little of the house, it remains a pristine example of the lifestyles of local families in the early decades of the 20th century. After our tour, we will be lunching at Polly's Pies. Meal is not included in the price of the excursion. 2025 Senior Membership is required for this activity. ADA ACCESSIBLE.
